AI Policies

This page explains the policy for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in manuscripts submitted to the Langua journal. All scientific journals worldwide agree that the use of AI in academic writing is permitted within certain limits. In general, using AI to write manuscripts, in whole or in part, violates academic ethics and integrity. Therefore, the following are the limitations on the use of AI in writing manuscripts for publication in the Langua journal.

Authors who do not adhere to this policy will not have their manuscripts processed.

  •   AI tools may be used for language editing, grammar checking, and improving the clarity of the manuscript.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating ideas, brainstorming, and outlining the structure of the manuscript.
  •   AI tools may be used for data analysis and visualization, provided that the authors clearly describe the methods and results in their own words.

  •   AI tools may be used for formatting and styling the manuscript according to the journal guidelines, provided that the authors check the final output for errors and inconsistencies.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating summaries, abstracts, and keywords, provided that the authors review and revise them for accuracy and clarity.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating titles, headings, and subheadings, provided that the authors ensure that they reflect the content and purpose of the manuscript.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating captions, labels, and legends for figures and tables, provided that the authors ensure that they are accurate and informative.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating acknowledgements, funding statements, and conflict of interest disclosures, provided that the authors ensure that they are truthful and complete.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating supplementary materials, appendices, and supporting information, provided that the authors ensure that they are relevant and accessible.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating responses to reviewer comments and editor feedback, provided that the authors ensure that they address the issues raised and provide evidence and justification for their revisions.
  •   AI tools may be used for generating cover letters, submission forms, and other administrative documents, provided that the authors ensure that they are accurate and complete.
  •   AI tools may not be used to generate or modify the core research content of a manuscript.
  •   Any use of AI in the writing process must be disclosed in the manuscript.
  •   Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and originality of all content in their manuscripts.
