IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKN PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 36 KOTA TERNATE

Abstrak

The results of this study indicate that the implementation of character education in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 36 Kota Ternate has been carried out, but it is still partial and has not been systematically integrated. Character values ​​such as responsibility, honesty, and tolerance have been attempted to be instilled through various approaches, but limited pedagogical strategies, lack of teacher training, and minimal character-based evaluation are the main obstacles. Learning practices still tend to emphasize cognitive aspects, while the affective and psychomotor dimensions related to internalization of values ​​have not received adequate attention. The local social and cultural context has also not been fully accommodated in the character education approach applied.
