TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN: STUDI IMPLEMENTASI EDMODO PADA MATA KULIAH PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM SD

Abstrak

Digital transformation in higher education has become an urgent need in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0, especially in developing future teacher competencies. However, the integration of learning technology in curriculum development courses is still not optimal. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Edmodo Learning Management System (LMS) platform in supporting learning in Elementary School Curriculum Development courses. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews with lecturers and students. The results showed that Edmodo was able to increase active student participation, strengthen conceptual understanding of the curriculum, and encourage collaboration and reflection on learning. Despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and digital literacy, Edmodo's pedagogical benefits were felt significantly by all participants. These findings emphasize the importance of LMS integration in teacher education as a strategic effort to build professional readiness to face 21st century learning. This study contributes to the digital education literature and forms the basis for developing more adaptive technology-based learning policies.
